Hi, I’m Jin.
I track early signals, then build to understand them.
Current focusAI in the software lifecycle
Here’s how I do it.
I test ideas against real work, then watch where the trade-offs show up.
- 01
Track
Early signals while they are still unclear and messy.
I track how emerging technologies, including AI, change what teams can make and what makes them worth adopting.
- 02
Build
Real tools and working prototypes to learn what they actually change.
I ship proofs of concept to see how those early signals affect teams, organisations, and digital systems.
- 03
Understand
Their second and third-order effects on teams and organisations.
I identify the trade-offs, unintended consequences, and strategic bets that matter.

Applied AI in practice
AI work here starts from the parts demos usually skip: confidential data, uneven adoption, messy files, cost, latency, and the cognitive debt these tools can create. What matters is whether an AI model can become a tool people can inspect, trust, and use in actual work.
In the Journey
- Applied Innovation Lead, Corporate Strategy & AIJun 2023 — now · Ufinity, Singapore
Writing
- The right words can carry a thousand instructionsA short reference can sometimes steer an AI better than pages of instructions.
- Play is how you learn what no one has figured out yetThere are two ways to learn: from a teacher with the answer, or by playing until you work it out. Topics like AI need the second, yet we default to choosing the first.
- What I learnt about Code-First Design from using Claude DesignI've been using Claude Design to understand where code-first design fits into modern software development.
Projects and tools
- Now In SingaporeA curated pulse-check on what is happening across Singapore right now.
- PromptPalAn internal Generative AI product for confidential, organisation-wide LLM access.
- PromptPal TranscribeA private transcription tool that turns spoken work into usable written material.
